My research lies at the intersection of biological understanding and intelligent machine design, with a focus on biomimetic robotics to investigate biological systems and their underlying principles.

I take a constructive approach, building robotic systems grounded in physiological hierarchies, particularly starting from the tissue level, including receptor-level sensing, proprioception, fluid lubrication, and musculoskeletal mechanisms.

Apr 01, 2026 I have been appointed as a Project Assistant Professor in the Department of Information Science and Technology, The University of Tokyo, affiliated with the Creative Informatics.
Mar 24, 2026 I received my Ph.D. in Information Science and Technology from The University of Tokyo. I was also selected as a representative graduate and delivered a speech at the commencement ceremony.
Feb 03, 2026 Our paper “Exploring the proprioceptive potential of joint receptors using a biomimetic robotic joint” has been published in Scientific Reports.
